With over a decade of diverse athletic experience as a Division 3 College Track & Field Athlete, competitive powerlifter, and weightlifter, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as a personal trainer. My competitive journey includes participation in prestigious events such as the IPL Junior Worlds, the USAW American Open, and USAW Nationals. These experiences, along with my USAW Level 1 Coach Certification and ACE Certification, have equipped me to effectively train clients at Strength Solutions in Tahoe City and other locations since 2016.
At the core of my training philosophy is the concept of "mindful movement," a practice that emphasizes the mind-body connection. I advocate for being fully attuned to one's body and experiences during training, harnessing this awareness to boost overall performance and well-being. This mindful approach not only enhances physical fitness but also prepares clients for outdoor adventures, allowing them to relish long days in the Sierra and the majestic beauty of the mountains. My ultimate aim is to help clients find a harmonious balance between their fitness routines and their love for the outdoors, fostering a deeper connection with both nature and themselves.

For many years, I dedicated myself to being a competitive strength athlete, relentlessly pushing my limits and achieving new milestones.
While this journey was fulfilling, I began to seek happiness beyond the confines of the gym, yearning for the peace and exhilaration that nature provides. I found this joy in the mountains, where the beauty of the outdoors rekindled my spirit and opened my eyes to new adventures.
Now, I’ve seamlessly blended my two passions, finding a harmonious balance between strength training and the thrill of outdoor pursuits. Running, hiking, mountain biking, and backpacking have become integral parts of my life, alongside Olympic weightlifting and strength training. This fusion has allowed me to thrive both physically and mentally, embracing the best of both worlds. Each day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to pursue these passions in unison, continually challenging myself and discovering new heights of fulfillment and joy.
