This is the best starting point for anyone who wants expert eyes on their movement, training, and next steps. It is also a strong option for people who are not looking for ongoing coaching, but still want a meaningful session with real takeaways.

During this session, we look at how you move, where your limitations or opportunities are, and how to better align your training with your goals.

What we cover:

  • movement assessment

  • discussion of goals, history, and limitations

  • lift or technique feedback where relevant

  • recommendations for training focus

  • next-step plan

This can stand alone or serve as the starting point for a Performance Week or Strength Block.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in the idea that strength should support your life — not compete with it.

I believe in mindful movement: paying attention to how your body moves, how you recover, and how training actually feels in your system. The goal is not just to push harder. The goal is to move well, build strength that transfers to real life, and develop more confidence in your body over time.

Coaching backed by experience

I come from a background in competitive strength sports and years of coaching people toward better movement and performance.

My experience includes:

  • Division III track and field athlete

  • competitive powerlifting

  • competitive Olympic weightlifting

  • USAW Level 1 Coach

  • ACE Certified Trainer

My approach blends strength, movement quality, and body awareness so clients leave with more than a hard workout — they leave with a better understanding of how to train.
